According to the data released by CISA (China Iron and Steel Association), Chinese registered steelmakers have contributed a daily crude steel output of 1.6073 million tons in late July of this year, decreasing by 2.66% from middle July. Meanwhile, Chinese average daily crude steel output is estimated to stand at 1.9494 million tons in late July, down 2.2% versus middle July.
Influenced by overhauls and production curtails from mills, China's steel output has inched down gradually. Considering of the domestic steel market demand will continue its weak trend in the near future, we deem that China's steel output may dip further as well.
